For Landscape is a group exhibition featuring works by: Isaac Lin, Bill Jenkins, Bryan Kaplan, Rie Miyake, Rebecca Millsop, David Toro, Charles Beronio, John Blanco, Kyle and Megan Mock.

For Landscape is an exhibition of audio, abstract and personal land-scapes. Queen's Nails Annex asks ten artists "what, why and how is a landscape?"

David Toro has created a site-specific wall drawing where he re-interprets a poem by Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca.

Rie Misashaki is displaying three videos where she explores San Francisco tourist locations, intervenes with visitors, alters our visual landscape with floating balloons and explores the fantasy-scape of the 80's films such as The Never Ending Story.

Charles Beronio has produced a site-specific intervention entitled Black Light. The studio fluorescent light fixture functions normally but operates as an inversion of the typical expectations that artificial lighting fulfills. Rather than illuminate a space it conceals its own luminous properties creating a dark atmosphere, casting shadows and a sense of dark prospects on the group below.

Kyle and Megan Mock have collaborated on an installation and limited edition CD of late-night bedroom recording sessions. The soft explosion of multi-layered, bubbly melodies masks an orderly system, which they use to create the electronic compositions. Ghostly images of incomplete rooms and sections of walls seem to appear out of thin air or slowly vanish into oblivion mark the fold out covers of the compact disk and the installation walls.

Isaac Lin has created gradientgreengreylightblue, a large scale painting with multi-layered unintelligible calligraphy set on a background of lush color that fades into a gradation of grays.

John Blanco will utilize QNA's bathroom for a project entitled, 7 minutes of Heaven.

Blanco will create a site-specific performative installation based on sexualized and intimate explorations of youthful games such as "truth or dare".

Rebecca Millsop has created a text and image installation entitled, Everything I Have Ever Said & Everything I Have Ever Wanted to Say. A sculpture based on the romantic communication of materials such as paper and ink.

Bryan Kaplan's installation entitled, The Sound of her Wall is an audio project framed not in terms of substance but rather potential for containment. As Kaplan states, "the room here is the sound's first audience; we come to it as an alteration."

Bill Jenkins is exhibiting #4, a large-scale drawing made with permanent marker. Variations in the image are created by leaving spaces blank, a change of tone occurs when the markers begin to run out of ink.
